Itinerary

Pick up

The durian farm experience starts with visitors being pick up from the parking area. As our farm is only accessible by four wheel drive we will pick visitors up from the designated parking area. Each four wheel drive will be able to accommodate 5 people sitting in the cabin of the car.

Our tour starts at 12.30 pm

Visiting Young Durian Trees (15 - 30 min)

Next we will head to our durian farm area which visitors will be able to see newly planted young durian trees. This is a great learning experience to learn how durian trees are planted, nurtured and grow.

​

We will explain how many durian trees can be planted per acre and how the land is prepared to plant durian trees. We will also explain how young durian trees are taken care, fertilized and kept healthy. The requirements to make sure durian trees grow well since young will be explained.

​

Explanation about irrigation and water sprinklers are also given so that visitors can truly understand what it takes to grow durian trees.

Visitors Plant A Durian Tree (10-15 min)

Next we will head to our durian farm area which visitors will be able to see newly planted young durian trees. This is a great learning experience to learn how durian trees are planted, nurtured and grow.

We will explain how many durian trees can be planted per acre and how the land is prepared to plant durian trees. We will also explain how young durian trees are taken care, fertilized and kept healthy. The requirements to make sure durian trees grow well since young will be explained.

Four Wheel Drive Adventure Into 40 Year Old Durian Tree Area (10 Min)

After looking at young durian trees and learning how to grow them, visitors will be taken into the farm area which has durian trees as old as 40 years old. This area of the farm is specially reserved for agritourism.

At the farm you will be able to see various tropical fruit trees as well

  • 40 year durian trees as high as 50 feet

  • Mangosteen trees some as tall as 30 feet. We have more than 80 mangosteen trees

  • Rambutan trees

  • Duku, Dokong and langsat trees

  • Pulasan trees

How To Choose The Best & Fresh Durians And Learn How To Open A Durian (10-15min)

In this section, visitors will be educated on how to choose the best durians and also how to choose fresh durians. They will be taught how to identify durians that just dropped compared to durians that have dropped many days.

 

Visitors will be given an opportunity to open the thorny king of fruits. Then we will teach visitors how to correctly open a durian.

Durian Tasting And Eating Time (30 min)

This will perhaps be the best part of the entire durian farm experience.

Visitors will get to eat the famous Musang King from Pahang. They will also get to taste D24 and other varieties such as Channee, Loong Chit Wat, Kampung Special (if available).

We encourage visitors to eat until satisfied

Taste Different Tropical Fruits

Malaysia is not only famous for its durian. In fact we have many local tropical fruits that are full of antioxidants and colourful taste.

We will prepare 6-7 other type of fruits to complement durians. Among them are such as:

  • Cempedak

  • Nangka

  • Buah Salak

  • Jambu

  • Nanas

  • Duku

  • Dokong Langsat

Learn To Cook Lemang And Rendang In A Durian Farm Setting (20-30 min)

Lemang and rendang is one of the traditional Malay food that is mouth and tasty. In this section you will learn how lemang and rendang is made and cook.

You will also get to taste this special local cuisine. Leave the farm with a wonderful memory of experiencing one of the best traditional cuisines in the country.

Eat A Lunch Of Local Food And Kuih

In addition to the Lemang and Rendang, guests will be able to experience local food such as Mee Goreng, teh tarik, Kelantanese food and an assortment of traditional Malay Kuih.

Malay kuih come in an assortment of colours and this will delight your photo loving family and friends and tickle your taste bud.

Walk Around Farm, Play With Chickens (Ayam Kampung Kacuk) And Take Pictures Of Various Fruit Trees (30-45 min)

Guests and visitors are encouraged to walk around the farm following our farm guide. You can even play with chickens. The traditional ayam kampung kacuk or village chickens.

You can also take pictures of various kind of fruit trees.
